Ray was born in Fort Wayne, attended undergrad at Indiana University in Bloomington receiving a bachelor degree and received his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2010 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Ray was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2010 and immediately joined his father’s firm becoming the 3rd generation attorney following his father and grandfather (Jr and Sr). Ray is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Ray’s practice areas focus on Debt Collection, Landlord Law, Creditors Rights Law, Estate Planning (Will, Power of Attorney, Living Will, Trusts), and Estate Administration (Probate).

Staying up-to-date on local, state, and federal laws, rules, and policies are very important to Perry Law Office. One way of doing this is by being involved in various organizations and associations within the areas of law we practice in.

Ray is an active member of the Allen County Bar Association, Steuben County Bar Association; Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA); Indiana Creditors Bar Association (ICBA); American Bar Association (ABA); National Creditors Bar Association (f/k/a National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys); National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives (NOSSCR); Apartment Association of Fort Wayne-NE Indiana; and Affordable Housing Association of Indiana (AHAIN).

Ray was on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Bureau, Inc. from 2013 through 2018 and served on the Executive Board as Secretary from 2015 through 2018, helping in the merger of the Women’s Bureau Inc. and YWCA of Northeast Indiana. He has spoken at various educational seminars put on by Perry Law Office, the Apartment Association of Fort Wayne-NE Indiana, and the Allen County Bar Association. In his free time, Ray enjoys boating, sports and spending time with his wife and 5 children.
