Jana was born and raised in Fort Wayne. She attended Bishop Luers High School. She began her undergraduate at Ohio State University, where she played for the university’s women’s club ice hockey team. Jana finished her undergraduate at Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne with an associate and bachelor, while simultaneously also obtaining an associate degree from Ivy Tech. In 2009, Jana received her law degree from Indiana University School of Law- Indianapolis. In 2010, Jana was admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana, U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Her primary practice areas are Debt Collection, Landlord Law, Discrimination and Fair Housing Defense, Creditors Rights Law, Social Security Disability, Estate Planning (Will, Power of Attorney, Living Will, Trusts), and Estate Administration (Probate).

Jana is an active member of the Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.; Metro Chamber Alliance; as well as a member of the Business Enthusiasts Exchanging Referrals Leads Group through the Chamber. Jana enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and two Labradors. She loves to be outside and take family vacations to the beach. She and her husband lived in Indianapolis for 10 years and still enjoy attending Indianapolis Colts games.
